Creativity Is An Action, Not A Feeling!

Tomas De Bruyne is an internationally acclaimed author, speaker and teacher.

Co-founder and director of European Master Certification, a unique program aiming to empower designers from all over the world to grow and expand their creativity. He is a very skilled communicator who genuinely connects and interacts with people, delivering the message and making sure it was understood.

Tomas teaches floral design by relying of a very strong foundation of theoretical knowledge, but delivers the message from a very practical perspective. By far, the most important skill for success in the 21st century, creativity must become the most active virus nowadays. And it does not refer only to design, it expands to everything we do, as that is how we truly grow.

There is no such thing as too much creativity, there is no quantification involved as it has infinite potential. One of the secrets of creativity is when we cultivate flexibility in our consciousness, for we allow us to renew ourselves in every moment and in every creation. Creativity is the ability to collect spare ideas and I strongly believe we need to change the idea of how we think about creativity, just as we need to change the way we see education. There is no creativity without intent.

Intent matters.

If there is no intent, it’s likely there is no shift either.

Intentional actions is design with purpose.

Creativity has always been within you.

Don't search for it elsewhere than your self.

Creativity is brought into the present moment.

Conscious is present moment.

Where you put your attention on, everything expands.

Start moving from having "no creativity" to "be creative!".

Most people are only the thermometer of their own life...letting the outside world control the temperature, and simply reacting. This often is the easier way to go, but we know that it isn't what sets you apart and keeps you growing.

What if you became the thermostat and gained control over your circumstances?

Consciousness is having the will to go beyond your conditioned mindset. A breakthrough the limits you give yourself unconsciously. Leave your comfort zone and be willing to enter the explore the uncomfortable.

Get comfortable with the uncomfortable!Every time you push yourself further you put yourself further and further in the unknown zone and realizing you are learning, thus growing!

A floral designer has to unleash creativity towards infinity because our business is connected to the general and common mindset of the society we belong to. Our industry is a barometer of time, showing what’s hot today and what people feel and are interested in. Colors, moods, designs are changing as fast as the perception and mindset of the people do.

A designer with an infinite creative mindset is competing against one-self, while others keep loosing energy in competing against everybody else. The future belongs to those who strive towards reaching their full potential!
